Dear Readers ...

At the end of last year we ask readers to support a petition to No.10 asking the Prime Minister to:
"recognise the vital support that Attendance Allowance (AA) and Disability Living Allowance (DLA) provide to disabled people, and to ensure that these benefits aresecured and are not removed as part of any future reform of the social care system in England."

The Prime Minister's Office has responded to that petition and you can view it here:

Dates have been announced for this years South West Disability Show, which is the largest event in the region to focus on promoting independent living and mobility for people with all forms of physical, sensory and learning disabilities and mental health impairments.

It is very important for the community to support events like this as without that support we stand the chance of losing them.

Opening hours: Friday 9th July 10:00 - 17:00  / Saturday 10th July 10:00 - 16:30
For more details about the event please contact Pat Turner at ALP exhibitions on 01789 491 451.
