Dear Readers ...

Does old age bring on cynicism or have I always been like that? ... especially when it comes to what our politicians are saying ... or rather NOT saying.

My friend George at ww.disabiltydirect.org  has forwarded me an article which relates to the Conservative Party's draft manifesto on schools and how they are pledging to: "end the bias towards the inclusion of children with special needs in mainstream schools". See NEWS page.

What exactly do they mean?

Are they intending to follow the example of some of our supposedly civilized EU members like Greece, Bulgaria and Romania, who hide away their 'different' children up in the mountains?

Come on people ... for once say what you really think. If you feel that disabled children should be separated out from mainstream education ... stand by your convictions and say so ... so that those of us, who think differently, know where to place our X on the ballot paper.

Best Wishes ... Alan (The Editor)      Smileys

Thinking of treating yourself to a trip up to town to see a show? ....
